The news coverage resulted in her signing a recording contract with Island Records, and then an agreement for management with Bieber's manager. Beer also got a small role in Louder Than Words, starring David Duchovny, and it premiered at the 2013 festival. The singer released her debut single, "Melodies", in the middle of 2013. In 2018 she released her solo debut album, "As She Pleases". The single "Home with You" landed in the Top 30 in Norway, and the EP climbed to the top part of the Billboard 200. Beer also released the single "Hurts Like Hell", with Offset the same year.
